About This Project

Located at 1639-1645 Malvern Road, Glen Iris, this multi-residential project will contain 36 generous apartments across 4 stories.

The Glen Iris corridor boasts a rich and diverse array of uses, dwelling types and densities, commercial buildings, and architectural styles. Some of the most noteworthy and striking residences and shopfronts have been heavily influenced by the Art Deco and Inter-War periods, however it is clear there has been continual renewal of built form in the area. We seek to continue this evolution of built form and propose a respectful, contemporary and elegant apartment building to complement and contribute to the streetscape. This application is in a precinct that is experiencing intensified urban development to meet rising demand for medium density living. The design intent for this building and its residents is to be a positive and uplifting addition to the community and neighbourhood.
